Why balanced armature drivers instead of dynamic drivers? Balanced armature drivers are tuned to produce sound aross the whole spectrum and provide as flat a response as possible, meaning the user hears the music accurately from deep bass to the high pitched tones. Dynamic drivers, such as neodymium or anisotropic types, are designed to emulate the normal hearing response curve of the ear. The performance is concentrate on a particular frequency range and thus have limited acoustic performance when compared to balanced armature drivers.
